Novel changes in chromatin state during neural development revealed by in vivo cell-type specific profiling

Targeted DamID (”TaDa”) permits genome-wide profiling of DNA- and chromatin-binding proteins in specific cell types. The binding pattern of chromatin-binding proteins with TaDa can be used to generate chromatin maps of specific cell types.
For Chromatin TaDa, we have developed Dam-fusions of the following chromatin-binding proteins for targeted expression:
Brahma - a chromatin remodelling protein associated with H2K27ac, represents TrxG chromatin (reagent information below)
HP1a - an H3K9me3 reader, represents HP1-associated heterochromatin (reagent information below)
Polycomb - an H3K27me3 reader, represents PcG chromatin (reagent information below)
Histone H1 - linker histone, enriched in all repressive chromatin (reagent information below)
RNA Pol II - marks actively transcribed chromatin reagent information here
